Every field carries its provenance.
In the register, a value never stands alone. Each field records who stated it, who verified it, and until when it holds — plus a substantiation level, so a reader can tell a verified figure from a declaration. The record summary reports the weakest level present, not the strongest.
Provenance on the field, not in a folder
Evidence attaches to the exact value it supports — the recycled-content percentage, the country of origin, the substance declaration — not to a shared drive of documents someone will have to search through later.
Validity windows, not stale certainties
Attestations expire. Every piece of evidence in Listrar carries a validity window, so the register knows when a certificate lapses — and shows it before a regulator or a customer finds out first.
Green claims that survive scrutiny
The EU green-claims rules and the FTC Green Guides ask the same question: can you substantiate that? In Listrar, every claim carries its substantiation level in the open — so a self-declared claim reads as self-declared, not as verified.
An audit trail a regulator can read
