One canonical record: identity, composition, operator, claims — each with its provenance.

One canonical record

One record. Read by people, machines and authorities.

Every reader gets the same canonical record, at the disclosure level that applies to it — nothing is copied, re-keyed or scraped.

Evidence, not adjectives

Every meaningful claim carries its provenance.

A field in a Listrar record is never a value alone. It keeps its source, who verified it, how long it stays valid and its substantiation status — so a reader can tell a verified figure from a declaration. How substantiation is graded.

A single field, as the registry holds it.

Regulatory coverage

Built for the regulations that shape product data.

Each fact sheet states what a text requires, who it binds and from when, and which fields a record holds for it. Applicability always depends on the product and on the delegated acts adopted under the ESPR framework.

Regulation-driven schema

When regulation adds a requirement, the registry adds the field.

The data model evolves with applicable regulatory requirements instead of forcing products into a fixed generic schema. Attribute profiles are added as delegated acts arrive — without migrations or re-platforming.

  1. Regulation
  2. Requirement
  3. Attribute
  4. Product record
  5. Passport

First in line

Batteries go first.

The first passport in force is the battery passport: from 18 February 2027, under Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, every EV battery, light-means-of-transport battery and industrial battery over 2 kWh placed on the EU market must carry one. The EU DPP registry has been operational since 20 July 2026 (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1778). The ESPR product groups follow on the Commission's published timeline: iron and steel first (delegated act Q4 2026), then textiles, aluminium and tyres (Q3–Q4 2027), furniture (2028) and mattresses (2029) — each act applying no earlier than 18 months after it enters into force.

How it works

Register once. Resolve everywhere.

  1. Register

Create the canonical record: identity, composition, economic operators, claims.

  2. Evidence

Attach provenance to every field — who stated it, who verified it, until when.

  3. Resolve

Publish once. The passport resolves for consumers, agents, and authorities — each at their own disclosure level.

Who uses the registry

Built for the whole chain of responsibility.

Machine-readable by design

Product data that AI systems can actually use.

Listrar exposes the same canonical product record to machine-readable interfaces and AI agents — a structured feed, an API and an MCP server — so an agent reads the registry instead of scraping a page. How the agent rail works.

  1. Canonical record
  2. Structured data
  3. API / machine feed
  4. MCP
  5. AI agents

Institutional by design

Built for trusted product information.

EU data residency

Data is stored and processed within the European Union.

Evidence-based records

Claims and product information retain their source and verification context.

Clear boundaries

Listrar records and evidences product information; it does not replace authorities, certification bodies or conformity assessment.
